After A Visit to Dental Clinic

Someone told me: "try to find something in your life to be grateful of. Every single day. Before you go to sleep. Because by doing that, you'll be a grateful muslim".
So tonight, I'll say, I'm grateful for my teeth.
Why?
Because I'm still able to smile, talk, eat, even laugh without worry for being embarassed or feeling pain.

'A visit' to the dental clinic indeed open my mind upon my teeth. I barely know, many people outside there have been struggling with their life_ even for a simple daily routine_ because of their teeth! Teeth decay, gum disease, etc make them hard to smile casually or even only to bite an apple.
Ya Salaam..

Here the doctors share few valuable informations for us:
- brushing teeth regularly can help to save your brain, heart and blood vein. In short, You may live longer! Inshaa Allah

- after consuming sweet food/drink (milk's included!!), drink some water to rinse the sugar contain that may decay your teeth.

- take you time when brushing your teeth.
"Tickle all your teeth!!", the doctor say :D

- here's the interesting tips (which I love it). If you're out for day or night, but forget to have a toothbrush with you, don't worry! Grab a carrot or cucumber and eat it raw! Scientist found that these two veggies will naturally clean your teeth (bacteria to be precised), help to produce saliva (so our mouth won't dry), and avoid the bad odor (so you won't feel embarrased).

After the visit, I then just realise how important to keep our teeth healthy. I don't have problem with eating/drinking because my teeth can chew the food very well. I can read the qur'an with the healthy teeth. I can perform my solah and recite the du'a well. I enjoy talking with others and smile. All that because of the healthy teeth!! Which Again, I often barely take it for granted.

Then again, the doctor told me that the more often we eat (and snacking), the more bacteria and acid will decay the teeth.
Goshh! Do we have to brush our teeth each time after meal??
For muslim, no. We don't. We've been cleaning our mouth 5 times a day. Through wudhu (ablution).
Mashaa Allah.
That's just brilliant, isn't it!!

Allah gives us body. Now it's our turn to keep it healthy.
So we can study, work, perform good deed (ibadah) well.
As a way for being grateful.
Alhamdulillah :)
